Earmarks, Part 2

Republican Senators John Thune and John Cornyn, both from Texas, held a press conference yesterday to announce their opposition to the omnibus appropriations bill.


Thune: "The bill is loaded up with pork projects, and it shouldn't get a vote."
Cornyn: "I think this is an outrage."

Then, a funny thing happened... It was pointed out by the press that they had both absolutely loaded the bill with earmarks; A total of $132 Million, in fact.
