Former Sen. Rick Santorum has responded to Sen. John McCain's recent pronouncements against torture by saying McCain "doesn't understand how enhanced interrogation works." Indeed. Santorum would have us believe that the third ranking member of the Armed Services Committee and a veteran who suffered severe torture at the hands of the Vietnamese over more than five years... doesn't understand torture.
