    From a former teacher, I can attest to Hugo's insight. These Goddamn Republicans will reap what they are sowing in the form of more turbulence in the country, gated communities notwithstanding.

    sadly, inequality and oppression does not always breed turbulence. some of the most unfair societies are remarkably stable for long periods before turbulence sets in. for turbulence, people need to have hope.
