The Anti-Occupation Is Getting Crazy

Hold onto your hats, Occupiers. After this morning's amazing victory over the city of New York and the postponement of their plan to evict the movement, attacks like the one's profiled below are just going to grow.

There is more slacked-jawed spittle-dribble from the wingnut brigade. Those who oppose the Occupy movement have really gone nuts. Their fear is palpable. Let's be honest, though. This many assholes lashing out in trembling terror only serves to show how much sense the Occupation actually makes.

The Family Research Council's Bryan Fischer wants his minions to pray the protesters away. Yes, the group that stipulates that the "founders" were almost all "orthodox Christian" (lie), contends that sexual orientation is a choice (absurd proclamation) and is designated a "hate group" by the SPLC (fact) has chimed in. From their official website:

"The sixties-style tent city protest, which seemed to fizzle after its September 17 launch, now has momentum and is expanding to cities across the nation, including Washington, D.C. Organizers of the movement (e.g. ACORN, labor unions, and other far-left leaders and groups) have been given new life by the sycophant liberal media, Hollywood celebrities and leading Democrats in Washington, including President Obama. Six arrests were made when one hundred demonstrators conducted an illegal demonstration inside a Senate office building (see Gullible, Who's Behind it?, Official Website, Senate Building).
May God prevent these radical organizers from stirring revolution and distracting voters from the elections and keeping watch on our elected leaders (Num 16:1-14; Is 1:4-6; Pr 12:11-12; Mt 26:41; Eph 4:28; 1 Tim 6:3-10; Heb 13:5-6)."

This is bat-shit, crazy-pants, mouth-breathing insanity. To cite the passages above in conjunction with condemnations of the occupiers proves that Fischer and his followers don't understand the words. These folks aren't smart enough to decipher the meaning in a dry cleaning bill.

There is also this from Addicting Info's Stephen D. Foster:

"A Kentucky Republican has posted a rather disturbing comment on Facebook about the Wall Street protesters. Steve Frank, city commissioner of Covington, Kentucky apparently feels like killing the protesters occupying Wall Street just as the Taliban feels like killing American soldiers in Afghanistan.

In a post on October 9th, Frank wrote, "Turn out the lights on the Occupiers, I feel like going Taliban on them!!! The Taliban, as they see it is resisting occupation. I am resisting the Occupiers and very proud to be a 1%'er."

Yup. There are actual American legislators who want to "go Taliban on" the Occupation. What would that entail, exactly? Does he want to use suicide bombers? Or does he just want a few kidnappings and decapitations? Frank was not specific on which Taliban-sanctioned methods he prefers.

But the big smear is apparently coming today from Andy Breitbart:

"In keeping with the new media notion of crowdsourcing–enthusiastically embraced by the mainstream media when trawling through Sarah Palin’s emails–Big Government will be providing readers later today with links to a document drop consisting of thousands of emails.

The email archive, created by a private cyber security researcher, appears to contain messages shared by the left’s anarcho-socialist activists during the strategic and daily tactical planning of the “Occupy Wall Street” and broader “Occupy” campaign this fall.

Big Government received a tip about the existence of the archive, and we were able to contact the individual who compiled and posted it. He will describe the archive, and how he obtained the emails, later this morning exclusively on Big Government."

Yup. It's a vast conspiracy. This is going to get worse as the movement grows more effective.
