Whistleblower's Rights In Jeaopardy?

Feb 11th, 2011

The Supreme Court has agreed to hear a case in March which may limit the right of whistleblowers to bring action against their employers. There is every reason to assume that SCOTUS will side with business... again.

The money quote from All Headline News:
"Business groups prevailed in all 16 cases of the Supreme Court’s last term in which the U.S. Chamber of Commerce filed amicus briefs, according to a recent New York Times investigatory report.

They included Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, in which the Court lifted many restrictions on political lobbying by corporations. The Court said lobbying is protected under First Amendment rights of free speech."
