Any semi-regular reader of The Hand knows we really respect Andrew Sullivan. Here's another reason why.
When questioned yesterday by Chris Matthews, Mr. Sullivan lays out how a republican retaking of the house could be great for President Obama:
"You say he’s paid a political price, but in his ratings he’s higher than Clinton was, the great politician of his time, he’s higher than Reagan was…this is normal... I think the one thing that is killing him is that Republicans can criticize, and criticize, and criticize but because they have no power and responsibility they don’t have to say what they would do."
Although we're still fighting against it, our hat goes off to his reasoning. Watch the video below.
